Lauren Bowling
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Lauren Bowling is Nationally Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. This certification allows her to diagnose and treat mental illness in a variety of ways including prescribing medications. She received her Master of Nursing Science degree from Walden University and has experience treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, insomnia, and substance abuse disorders. Lauren is able to treat persons at any stage of life including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to all patients across the lifespan. Lauren possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by natural ability to build rapport with patients and families. She follows evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition. Lauren’s goal with medication management is to meet her patients where they are, and help get them to where they’d like to be. She values interdisciplinary education and inter-professional collaboration for a whole person, patient centered approach to health and healthcare.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her three daughters and two dogs. She loves to be outdoors, especially in or by water of any kind. Anytime she is not at work or with her kids, you can likely find Lauren in the gym de-stressing from her busy schedule.
